We would like to request a feature where Mass.gov users could hover over a legal term on a Mass.gov page and get a pop-up box with the definition for the term. We think this would be helpful so users didn’t have to click a link and leave the page to get to a glossary, nor would we have to make pages longer that needed to explain all the definitions relevant to the topic within the body of the page. It could function similarly to the title/tool tip Mass.gov currently uses for embedded images, where users could hover over an image and get a pop-up box with the title text, or in this case, the definition. I am not sure if other organizations have a need to define their terms as frequently as we do, but we have a full glossary of terms currently on Mass.gov that this would be helpful for.
