[BUG] this.user is undefined

Issue Description:
this.user is undefined - and other similar issues when trying to login

Reproduction Steps:
After logging in on desktop cannot access characters, see any options "

Expected Result:
able to login/access stuff

Additional Context:
only happens on one computer, on other firefox computer doesn't happen, no extensions am not sure what is going on
