I assume you are talking Linux? There appears to be a bug with getting the engine versions on Linux again, that I'm going to have to figure out a better workaround. The issue is that Epic has the Linux engines on the "UnrealEngine" domain, and everything else on a "epicgames" domain, so the cookies seem to expire faster on the UE domain causing the normal login to work for everything but Linux engines...
It is something I plan on fixing for the next version.
Probable Workarounds:
I'm on Windows, and I have the same issue.
Hmm, that is strange since Windows uses the same asset system for Unreal as it does for all other assets. Linux is the oddball in this. I'll run some tests to see why it isn't showing versions as it should be...
Yes I'm on windows too
I'll do some testing on a windows machine this week and get a fix out asap...
Thank you very much Nathanael :) For information I have W11 23h2 build 22631.3527 My antivirus is Bitdefender if it's a deal
If you need more info don't hesitate to ask
W10 - 21H2 19044.2846 (IoT Enterprise). No antiviruses, Windows Defender off.
How are you doing, any progress?
Also having this issue of being unable to download any engine version on Windows as well. (Win10 here) Do not know if this is tied to me not having the epic games launcher(highly doubt) installed or not though.
Was trying to get a new feature done, but it looks like it is taking a lot longer to get done. So I'll try and just get a version out shortly that fixes this issue (and a couple others that I've fixed).... Too much to do, not enough time. :grinning:
Same issue, i'm on W10 22H2 19045.4780...
Good afternoon and sorry if it's noob question and not a real issue (but maybe it is :) ) I launched the program and connected to my epic account and then I wanted to download a specific unreal engine. But nothing else appears in the select Version than "Epic Official Builds". Is it normal or did I do something wrong ?
Thank you very much, Kind regards,
Kevin
