documentation on mutliple paths

Is there any documentation on using multiple paths in the project base path? I have looked on the site and help, and do not see anything, I have tried space, coma, line and semicolon sepperators(with and without quotes) and i cant seem to get it to find the projects. (each individual path works fine however)
