Intervalometer causing camera to freeze after 1 hour #207

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.taking any amount of photos using the intervalometer for 1+ hour
2.i have done two tests one with 1 second exposures (1450 of them) and one with
an hours worth of 30" exposures)
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

the intervalometer to keep going until the battery ran out or memory card was
full (still had 4000 shots remaining)

What version of the product are you using?
400plus-20120401-r1172.zip

Please provide any additional information below.

the blue light continues to flash but the camera just shows the original canon
info screen with the SS and aperture etc. I also have to put the battery out of
the camera as turning it off and even removing the CF card doesnt work.

Is it 1 Hour exactly or something around it ? Can you enable debug-on-power-on
from devs menu and do the tests again, then after the freeze try to push the
shutter button and see if it's taking another shot.
After that attach the log here, so we can check it.

Merging into issue #192, as this seems to be the same case.
