Very few items shown when "Newest items across all feeds" is ON in Preferences

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. After adding my +150 feeds from Google Reader, I only see about 10 items 
every so often. These only loop once when the preference mentioned above is 
ON and very few items, about 7, loop indefinitely when "Newest items from 
random feeds" is ON.
2. I heard of the RSS Ticker on the program Technometria with Craig Burton 
which was featured on the IT Conversations Podcast.
3. I have much interest in RSS Tickers and would like to add my 
contribution to the project. That's why I downloaded Flex Builder and will 
be starting to study the AIR-language soon.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect a plethora of news items, which could be accessed by hovering over 
them, like the Firefox Extension RSS Ticker by C. Finke, but instead I see 
a measly 10 items scroll past only once, without the ability to scroll the 
ticker with my mousewheel, like in the above mentioned extension, and then 
the ticker showing "No more unread items".

What version of the product are you using? (Note: if you pulled the source 
from SVN, enter a revision number here instead of a Snackr version number) 
v3.09 TEST

On what operating system?
Windows XP Sp3, Computer: Acer Travelmate Laptop

What version of the AIR runtime do you have installed?
The latest

Having made acquantaince with your program and the programming language 
Adobe AIR was all my pleasure. As mentioned above, I hope to be able to 
spent some time in learning AIR and tracking down this bug myself. I'll be 
starting this week, so I expect it will be solved in about the same time as 
Rob Adams spent on integrating Google Reader with Snackr (which was 4 
months).

Nope.

I won't be able to add my contribution to your project, since Adobe Flex is 
very slow 
on my system and needs 3 hours to load the workspace only. 

For future reference, here are the requirements:

Also I wasn't able to get a checkout of the 0.39 TEST-version of Snackr.
