Two reasons: duplicate of existing unit test and no longer compatible due to the renaming of bitcoind -> mastercored.

I'm very much in favor of adopting the missing parts though, but I believe it's cleaner to remove this until the tests are converted.

This or a derivation of it should be merged before the release, as mentioned:

partially replaced by unit tests
incompatible and depreciated
sort of dangerous: even if the regtests are updated to be compatible with 0.0.9, the regtests do not properly spawn clients in regtest mode - running them alone can mess and interact with the mainnet and testnet wallet (!)

Good point on it being dangerous, agreed since it's not currently maintained. Thanks
