Paper Mario glitches

Been testing Paper Mario on the v1.0 Release.

Many textures are missing (Selecting a save, opening the menu, the status bar when you stand idle...) and the sprites become discolored or are completely missing during the kidnapping scene for Princess Peach. The sprites turned inverted or green while Bowser had his body missing for half of the cutscene. The wand was also missing.

Transitioning into different areas or into battle results in a black square.

Moving down with the joystick will have mario continue walking in that direction even after lifting your finger.

In later updates of the game I have seen the same inverted glitch when peach and bowser are in the same room

I found that upgrading partners (or, at least upgrading Goombario in the oasis) crashes the game with every combination of settings I tested.
