the game will load normally, i would click "new game", i would load the difficulty selection menu, i would select the difficulty, and it would then go black for a while, show the 'loading" image, it would show that for about 30 seconds, and then crash.
once it crashes it would show an error and would show press A to save crash dump or any other button to turn off. so it crashes not the app, but the whole 3ds system,
