difficulty buttons wont work

I did the installation as said, and have it installed and working fine, except for the fact that any difficulty button doesn't work. any way to fix?

for anyone else having this problem you need to install half life from your pc and then copy the valve folder to the xash3d folder on your 3ds' sd card

I literally did everything right and I still cannot choose difficulty and start the game.
