Java7 compatablility #4

This will not build with Java 1.7. I get the following stack trace when running mvn package, and the research I've done seems to indicate this is an issue with Java 1.7 support.

Now, the hits I've found are less clear as to exactly where the issue is, so, it might not be this code.

Well, this looks like a maven bug, or at least a 1.7 incompatibility in org.eclipse.equinox. I'm not sure what I can do about that. I'll see if I can upgrade some dependencies, maybe the problem has been fixed upstream?
