oh… i wasn't considering that this could actually happen because my phone's time's not in sync with the instance's time… hm

I think making it display as 0s for negative values would suffice. Some apps do "Right Now" or something equivalent for when a timer like this is from less than a minute or so, but I think being a bit more specific does no harm even if it's possible it's slightly off due to time synchronization

I think, "Just now" would fit nicely. Would also feel more natural than having "0s" stay, potentially even after refreshing
