[BUG] After I unfollow an account, I keep seeing posts from that unfollowed account #372

Is there an existing issue for this?

Current Behavior

Mastodon does not update so that posts from accounts just unfollowed on the app do not appear.

Expected Behavior

Mastodon app should update so that posts from unfollowed accounts don’t appear in my home feed.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open Mastodon app
  2. Go to home feed
  3. Click on the account of any post (not reposts)
  4. Unfollow from that account
  5. Go back to home feed
  6. Swipe down to refresh
  7. See if posts from that unfollowed account still show up

Environment

- Device: iPhone XS Max
- OS: iOS 15.3.1
- Version: v1.3.0
- Build: 109

Anything else?

A force refresh (swiping down) doesn’t work. I must log out then back in to fix this problem.

I experienced the same issue, had to sign out and sign back in to get rid of posts in the timeline of accounts I have unfollowed.

Similar experience with posts I made and then deleted. My deleted posts stayed in the timeline on the app although via the web they were gone. Same resolution for me, logged out and signed back in. Now the timeline in the app no longer shows the deleted toots.
