Suggestion: tapping on author name should bring up author's user page

Currently, if you tap on a user's profile picture, you're sent to their user page, which makes sense. Also, if you tap on the toot's text, you're send to the toot's page where you can read the entire thread, which also makes sense.

The following two behaviors I find unintuitive however:

• if you tap on the name of the author of a toot in your regular timeline, you are sent to the toot's page, not to the author's user page;
• if you tap on the author's name on a toot's page, nothing happens.

I think it would be more consistent and intuitive if tapping on a profile picture and tapping on the name right next to it would always send you to the corresponding user page.

I'm using Mastotodon for iOS v1.4.5 (144) on iPadOS 15.7.

I like that the author name is an easy tap area for image-only posts, but I can see how that could be confusing!

I've just had a new user contact me because they were very confused by not being able to go to a profile by tapping the profile's name. They didn't know any other way to get to a profile.

Tapping a profile name to see the profile works on the web version of Mastodon, and on most social networks in general. Why isn't it possible on the official app?
