multiple bookmark lists #16595

Pitch

I think it would be a nice extension if you could create multiple bookmark lists, analogous to (normal posts) lists.

Motivation

So you could organize your bookmarks by topics.

And maybe a way to mark bookmarks as "done" and hide them in the list but still keep them on it?

This feature would be really useful. Bookmarks get jumbled up really fast, and getting to the one toot you set out to look for can be hard in a large bookmark list. Being able to organize them would make that much easier.

It would also be nice to add a note to a bookmark just like you can do with users so you remember why you bookmarked that toot in the first place

What do you @drakonicguy mean with "to organize"?

this would allow to put bookmarks in custom lists, similar to github stars lists

This might be even taken one step further: Creating lists with different visibility levels (public, private, unlisted) so these lists could be shared or even embedded.
