Ability to mark a link preview as sensitive #24015

Pitch

Currently link previews can be a means through which harmful content can reach a viewer, whether that be violent headlines in preview images or sensitive content from video sharing sites.

I'm proposing a way to mark a link preview as sensitive, and also have a moderator be able to mark a link preview as sensitive.

Motivation

I've increasingly been seeing people share commentary on trans rights where the news site has published the hate speech verbatim as the headline of the article, or included it in the text in the image.

Currently there is no way to mitigate this besides marking each post as behind a content warning.

By allowing moderation on link previews, it'd a) empower users to disable a bad preview, b) help admins by allowing them to moderate content that's not first-party (i.e., stuff posted that isn't in the post text)
