When viewing a video on Mastodon, you must first download it. The entire bar is a light grey color, and the "download progress" bar is one shade different. The "played" section of the video is purple. The "download progress" is very difficult to see.

You can see the purple playback progress indicator, and the rest of the bar seems to be solid grey, but if you zoom in on the image you will see the download progress in the '2' of '32'.
I don't know what color "download progress" should be, but it should be a color that is easily discernible by everybody.
Motivation
Anybody who views videos will benefit from this, especially those with vision issues or aging eyes. I have a slow internet connection, so I generally have to wait until the video is downloaded before viewing, having a viewable visual indicator would help me know when I can hit play.
