It uses the same protocol, except the mfg id is 00 02 03, device ID is 4D 58 for Matrix Pro. Mat1 should know how to inquire so I'm not gonna repeat it here.

4 Available palette slots are available. There isn't a sysex API to inquire which application is running on Matrix OS yet, so maybe I will finalize that or add a pop-up to make sure the user is in the right app.

i will add this but not soon, there are lots of things that are higher priority unfortunately
