Yes it is. We are currently using it in several multisite installs ourselves. After you "Network Activate" the plugin, you will be able to set the account information for each site individually within Settings > Google Analytics.

Just a follow-up question to be sure we are on the same page as I didn’t include it in my original question. We have separate Google Analytics Tracking Codes for each blog site. From what you are saying I am able to enter the unique Tracking Code for each site after of course I activate it on the network. Correct?

That is correct.
The tracking code and settings are specific to each site. If you have any issues with it, just let me know and I would be happy to look into it.
Is your Universal Analytics plugin multisite enabled?
