I support this request. Are PRs welcome to add e.g. 10 additional levels?
I use atril for viewing large civil engineering drawings and electrical schematics, and 400 % is way too low for me. Could you please support infinite zoom (as available memory allows) or at least several more steps (say, up to 6400%)?
Thanks!
Hi.. "Just" a lurking user here with an observation for Developers: GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) uses a zoom where we users can type in anything we want, and it responds appropriately. I typed "1000" into that field (at bottom when an image is opened), hit "Enter," and off it went. Offering this up as a preexisting open source feature that might hopefully serve as a useful example. Best wishes!
DISCLAIMER: It just came to mind that that one seemingly "simple" example may be dependent on 1000 others innate to GIMP's purpose and that aren't appropriate here.
Expected behaviour
The ability to zoom more than only 400%. Very frequently, I stumble upon PDFs that are way, way, way too small. At other times, when I am cleaning some scans, I need to zoom even more than, say, 800%, to look at some speckles to clean.
Actual behaviour
Atril only allows one to zoom up to (but, sometimes, less than) 400%. If you have a moderate resolution (say, 600dpi) PDF or DjVu, then you usually can only zoom up to 200%. :disappointed:
Steps to reproduce the behaviour
Try to select from the zoom from the dropdown menu or using the keyboard combination Ctrl-+.
