[Suggest]Can't edit file path in [open file]dialog

Expected behaviour

When selecting the file to be opened, I can directly path. Allow paste, copy and edit.

Actual behaviour

Must open the folders one by one. click folders1 > click folders2 .....> click file I need to open

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

Open the file selection dialog with any software

Same with any "Select folder" dialog. Why I can't simply edit/paste the path instead of being forced to navigate a gazillion dirs down instead?

Edit: I see now that my issue might be due to GTK's file/folder chooser, as I found the same issue while testing the latest XFCE.

I guess I should "complain" to GTK's devs instead, but... I doubt it would help much... I guess I could switch to LXQT.
