renaming a file by inserting a character from charmap should work in listview also. in compact view and icon view this works.
Actual behaviour
renaming files in listview by using copy and paste or mouse-2 is not possible.
Steps to reproduce the behaviour
selecting a file in listview. pressing f2. file name is highlighted, unselect the highlighted part, then go to charmap table, copy a char....
When leaving the caja window and clicking anything else to select it, the rename selection is undone and the listview is returned to its original state.
Otherwise first selecting something to paste, then going to caja pressing f2 on a file to rename it, selects the filename and automatically puts its into the paste buffer. So pressing ctrl-V or middle mouse inserts the filename instead of the previously selected item.
