Latest release: German translation partly missing #1646

Expected behaviour

Complete translation

Actual behaviour

File(s), item(s) and folder(s) are not translated. Make Link(s) in context-menu is not translated. The actual de.po has empty strings in the corresponding entries.

To whom it may concern,

I've translated the corresponding po-file (de.po.txt). Delete the txt-extension then you can convert it via

$ msgfmt -o caja.mo de.po

and copy it to

$ sudo cp caja.mo /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES

Don't forget to create a backup of the original file first.

1.26.1

Just looked into the latest version (1.26.2). Still a lot of blank msgstr in the german source file (de.po).

caja-glib-2.50.0-1.26.2 is not a normal release. It is only for rhel8 which has lower glib2 require. Maybe your translation was to late for 1.26.1 or translation strings were corrupt and caused build issues. Like i said in other report i drop all translated strings which stops building and creating of the tarball. Any way, with next release i will do a new pull from transifex. Btw. there a notes at transifex when i have to delete a corrupt string.
