[Solved] Audio-preview disappeared (with vlc link too) #1681

After caja 1.24 update to 1.26 audio-preview does'nt starts any more. I had used VLC link "ln -s /usr/bin/cvlc /usr/bin/totem-audio-preview" for a years (more than ten years), and I never had a Totem in my system, with VLC it works just fine. Is this option disappered for ever? I don't care about Totem. Is it possible to compile 1.26 with this option again, I can do it, just tell me that code should I change. That was changed, or may be there is other link have to be created now, instead of Totem?

O.K. done, moved from 1.24 to 1.26, "totem-audio-preview" replaced with "cvlc", works perfect. I hope You will not do anything that makes audio-preview without totem unavailable.

[Solved] gstreamer1.0-tools is the lost dependency there. First start delay is too long. cvlc and mpv are only plaing immediately, but cvlc are making caja not responding soon (starts with move to gtk3) and mpv can't play some files. mpg123, mpg321, ffplay, play (sox), mplayer, aplay, paplay are not plaing and not starting.
