Expected behaviour: when copying files on an attached USB stick(Lexar 8GB) from one directory to another on the stick, the info window should display approximately 660MB, a transfer rate ~ 12MB/s and a few seconds remaining.
Actual behaviour : when copying files on an attached USB stick(Lexar 8GB) from one directory to another on the stick, the info window displays a copy value of 2.6 EB - approximately 168,525 hrs left (~500GB/sec)
transfer time is only a few minutes.
Steps to reproduce the behaviour.
install an instance of Mageia 8 32bit Mate.
attach a USB stick. create a directory containing a number of small multimedia files ( I used 9 files , total 666.4MB, file types .m4v, .ogg, .flac, .m4a, .mp3, .mp4, wav, .webm, .mkv.)
create a new (empty) directory on the USB stick.
copy the contents of the original directory into the new directory using caja file manager.
