How to get rid of mouse gestures #318

Open RealVegOs opened 7 years ago

If you click and drag borders with button 1 it resizes the window

How to get rid of this? I drives me crazy sometimes, and I do not want or need it. Same with window sticking to mouse. This also happens, when I do not want to move a window. I'm old, I never used something with a touch screen and I never will!

Thanks for taking a bit stress out of my life.

Isn't this something that has been standard with mouse-based GUI interfaces since Windows 3.1? Unless I'm not understanding the issue...

Absolutely no! I did not experience this window manager behavior with Windows 98 SE. Then I switched to Debian with IceWM and I didn't get bugged with it, even by the first Versions of Mate Desktop. It annoys me since about 2 or 3 years. Should be optional, so I can turn it off. Mouse gestures means for me, combination of clicks and movements, not mouse clicks as such.
