Open N0rbert opened 5 years ago

Expected behaviour

On Ubuntu MATE 16.04 LTS user was able to use mouse wheel to scroll interface tabs.

Actual behaviour

On development version of Ubuntu 19.10 this is not possible - tabs do not react on mouse wheel.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

  1. Install Ubuntu MATE 19.10
  2. Add System Monitor applet to MATE Panel
  3. Right click on System Monitor applet, select Preferences
  4. Try to switch interface tabs with mouse wheel

Preferences dialog doesn't have interface tabs....

N0rbert commented 5 years ago

May be we talk about different things. I talk about this window, opened from MATE Panel applet:

1910

which is intended to be as it was on 16.04 LTS:

1604

As long time GNOME2 user this functionality is intended / expected / useful for me. Seems to be GTK3-caused regression.

Those are the color tabs from preferences, but not interface tabs as you said before. Second window is of course mate-system-monitor itself.

Still happens on latest Ubuntu MATE 22.04 LTS beta.
