Sticky Notes: Workspace ID lost when setting "Hide notes…" in preferences #647

Closed ajfre closed 1 year ago

ajfre commented 1 year ago

Expected behaviour

Workspace ID in notes should overcome a change of preferences

Actual behaviour

Workspace ID is set to the current workspace for all notes

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

Precondition: All behaviour preferences are cleared. Several notes on several workspaces. Open Sticky Note Applet's Preferences, click "Hide notes when the desktop is clicked on". Sticky Notes reaction: all notes appear in the current workspace. Info about workspaces for the notes is lost. There is no convenient way to move the motes back to their former workspace, you have to edit ~/.config/mate/stickynotes-applet.xml
