I will merge this end of the weekend to make a new 1.27 point release for better testing the panel before 1.28. Mate-panel repo has a lot commits after the latest point release. Team members please answer here if you do not agree with this plan.

Looks good to me, I am for it: merging this, 1.27 point release for testing, then releasing 1.28
