Does not remember my last brightness setting #363

When I start my system , it does not remember my last brightness setting.

In some cases (e.g brightness reduced to zero), this can get a user out of trouble.

Plenty of new users otherwise could lock themselves out of having a working screen, be unable to turn the brightness back up because rhey have a black screen, and end up reinstalling their entire OS from scratch
