mate-session not reading .Xmodmap #125

Mate is ignoring my ~/.Xmodmap; I have put the line /usr/bin/bash -c "sleep 15 && xmodmap ~/.Xmodmap" at Startup Applications in order to have it working.

It seems this problem is still persisting. (Mate version 1.18)
