No Close button on titlebar of Open File windows of Menta theme #298

Open lucas-oliver-trondsen opened 2 years ago

lucas-oliver-trondsen commented 2 years ago

Expected behaviour

The Open File window should have a Close button at the right end of the titlebar, like this: open_file_with_close_button

Actual behaviour

Unfortunately, when using the Menta theme, the Open File windows have a title bar without a Close button: open_file_without_close_button

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

To see this behavior you can enable Menta theme from System > Control Center > Appearance, on the Theme tab choose Menta. Then open up a browser and press Ctrl + o.

MATE general version

MATE 1.24.1

Package version

mate-themes 3.22.21-1

Linux Distribution

Debian 11 (bullseye) 64-bit (Kernel Linux 5.10.0-9-amd64 x86_64)

To make the Close button show up on Menta Open File windows I had to customize the theme by clicking the 'Customize ...' button, (in the 'Appearance Preferences' window, on the Theme tab), then on the Window Border tab choosing BlueMenta. However, Menta should have the Close button by default, like BlueMenta. It shouldn't be necessary to use the window border of another theme in order to see the Close button in the upper right corner of Open File windows.
