Steps to reproduce the behaviour
Build mate-user-guide 1.24 on Debian Unstable, don't know yet if a post Feb 1 update fixed this (cannot update and install locally built packages at the same time)
Expected behaviour
Build completes without translation warnings
Actual behaviour
Got these warnings but build did finish:
Build finished but users of at least one non-English language will have a problem
