I tried to use restoreopenfiles as suggested and put it into .local/share/pluma/plugins or in .config/pluma/plugins In either case the plugin did not show in the plugins list in Pluma 1.24.0 even after restarting it. I tried searching for a solution but came up with nothing. Am I missing something obvious?
You need to install latest developer version of pluma. https://github.com/mate-desktop/pluma/releases/tag/v1.25.3

Major code editors have tab saving feature. They auto load pages on launch. It saves time and refresh the memory. This Gedit plugin works well in the latest version. Could we port it to Pluma?
