Based off my experience with the app, this fixed the problem of startify telling me I was not rooted.

It might be worth adding that you should make sure the root isn't hidden from the app i.e. with magisk hide.

Haven't looked through the code in full so perhaps the developer can provide more specific instructions / provide insight on why this would be helpful

If you set your SU app to "Ask", it doesn't ask on that screen?

Mine didn't - It works fine normally for other apps, but never asked for startify. Not sure why, hasn't happened before.
