Appindicator for unity #19

The Status Icon is not present in the unity desktop. did a little bit of research if we want the icon as one of the main modes of interaction with the program:

That solves the how of it. It's a little unsettling that there was the push to pygi and the application indicator toolkit that comes as a built-in was discarded. I'll add that at some point. I didn't even notice on XFCE.
