Feature Request: Option to enable ringer/alerts through phone speaker when headphones plugged in/bluetooth connected. #16

I always use headphones or an external handset with my phone, but there is no option in UT to allow the ringer to sound when headphones are plugged in, is this something you could look into? I've raised it with UBports also, as I think it's an overlooked feature.

interesting idea, would somehow have to route the two audio separate? I remember there was another app that had a headphone/speaker switch - for pinephone(it never made it into the store) perhaps we could look at that code and see if there were any clues

Many thanks for looking into this, please do keep me updated with your progress. It'll certainly save my headphone input from repeated plugging in and out if this becomes a functional feature, and bluetooth headphone users who have raised this issue in the past will no doubt be pleased to see it implemented. I'm not a coder, but I'm happy to test things out, I'm using a OnePlus One with UT.
