at the moment raw markup is shown at search result pages. we should filter any markup out of the search results (maybe a new template filter has to be written)

We'll also need to use the filter for iCal export.

No imho markdown is human readable enough to let it as it is in the iCal export. but what about the newlines?

We can encode them. The RFC 5545 standard uses \n for newlines. Works in Apple iCal and Google Calendar that way. Didn't test Outlook, though.

okay i only didn't know if iCal can handle the newline inside the description foo there :)

fixed by my commit 2b7b58d8725d834b15d4 - can be closed if it has been merged into this repo.
