@jauyong I have used unDraw illustrations (https://undraw.co/) and adapted them to fit the style of illustrations on material.io Guidelines (example below).

We can also consider creating custom illustrations and there will not be any legal concerns. I'm able to provide illustrations that will look exactly like the illustrations used on material.io and are easy to replicate (example below).
