Regression: Settings no longer preserved #311

Describe the bug Settings not preserved between uses of the plugin, unlike previous versions.

To Reproduce Activate plugin

  1. Go to 'Settings'
  2. Check options
  3. Use plugin to update scheme, etc.
  4. Close Plugin
  5. Open Plugin
  6. Settings are cleared
