Do the mapping-type parsers (JSON, YAML, etc.) need adapters as well?

Probably, but I haven't fully figured out the mapping-style ones yet.

@jgaff , we do need adapters for the mapping-type parsers.

I've written one for CSVs and will do a JSON soon
