If you're using a reference manager that can import from web pages (like zotero) you can do this already since we add citation meta Information via JSON-LD.
We'll definitely also add a way to download references from the page after the move to invenio (zenodo already has it)
I wanted to download the references in BibTeX format to be able to include them as resource objects in the OPTiMaDe servers. Adding something similar as to the CIF/XYZ download button(s) for structures would be nice, as well as having the more sophisticated means of adding the reference through different applications.

Ah, I see. As a first step, just adding the DOI already goes a long way, since from the DOI one can directly harvest certain metadata (and users can go there to find out more).
Sure. But a proper reference it not just a DOI. Having a download functionality and catering to older reference library applications is a small step to hugely lower the barrier of using the reference, which is definitely something Materials Cloud wants people to do, I suspect. I would argue there is a reason why all* journals still have this functionality :)
*all that I know of and have gotten references directly from.
No need to convince me, that's why I wrote we'll definitely add this!
It would be good to have a button, perhaps dropdown, on all archive entries to be able to download it as a reference in different well-known formats. This might be RIS, BibTeX, etc.
