I did, but I guess I deleted it when I was Spring cleaning my Github a few days ago. Looks like the PR was never accepted by @math2001. @alexanderadam, if it's helpful to you, take a look at my code in this PR ( https://github.com/math2001/MarkdownLivePreview/pull/87/commits/e828df2356bf5a0f191d4c7efdc5fac121075e14 ) and see if you can replicate the changes.

@dderiso thank you for your fast response. I saw the patch but I'm not quite sure where I can find functions.py on my local system to patch it.
