Thank you for the great package!

Maybe the computations to generate sim data object can be parallelized (e.g. using {mirai}) Are there any plans for this?

Yes, good point. I think for certain parts of the procedure, and for certain data generating mechanisms paralellisation would be feasible and easy to implement. In particular, I will add this to the list for #12 where parallelisation would be straightforward. For the drawing of samples from the mechanism itself - this should be feasible as well, but I will have to look into it in more detail. It may not be worth it, as it usually is not very time-consuming.

I keep this open for now and tag as enhancement while working out details.
