Compatibility issue with jquery.pwstrength.bootstrap in IE9 #292

It seems that jquery-placeholder works in conjuction with jquery.pwstrength.bootstrap in the latest popular browsers but in IE9 the meter bar shows but does not function and no messages when installed with jquery.pwstrength.bootstrap.
