Bug 1658305

Bug Reporter: Håvar I. Henriksen [:havarh] <havar@firefox.no> CC: @guerojeff, @mathjazz

Is it possible to add Apple Glossaries to machinery in Pontoon? The ones found here: https://developer.apple.com/download/more/?=glossaries (I found the link here: https://developer.apple.com/localization/resources/) It seems like you'll need a developer account to access these files.

Also if Google/Android has something similar, that would also be useful.

I've searched for a license statement, both on the site an in the downloaded files, and couldn't find anything. That bothers me.

Note, they're not really glossaries, they're actually TMs, AFAICT.

The license statement may be part of the developer account terms of service. If they're only accessible behind that firewall, they probably can't be used in the open like we do.

Seems like there's no API available.

Translations are spread across a variety of files, which we'd need to download, extract, parse and store in our DB regularly.

Keeping it around as a P5 bug until we figure out the legality of using these glossaries.
