o +wt+model\MaskAnnotation.m:149,159 - I commented out the verLessThan('matlab','9.10') condition, because no slices displayed correctly on 21a+ without this correction (your assumption that the internal bug was fixed in 21a is apparently wrong)

Agreed - Think I will just keep this fix for all versions. I don't see any harm in adjusting the Z-position of each mask slightly.
