I occasionally run into the following problem with The Unarchiver: I double
click an archive file
and get the impression that I didn't double click correctly because The
Unarchiver's window
doesn't appear. So I double click the file again.
What happens then, is the following: My first double click was in fact a valid
one, the system was
just slow to launch the application because of swapping or the machine being
busy and The
Unarchiver ends up being asked to unarchive the same file twice. That doesn't
make particularly
much sense and fails as I have the application set up to trash the files after
unarchiving, leading
to an error message.
It'd be helpful if The Unarchiver just ignored files the system tells it to
open if they are already in
the queue for unarchiving (just as other applications will not open the same
file twice but only
bring them to the front if they are already open).
