Is nookies still being maintained? #568

I am starting a new project with nextjs and I am wondering if this package is still being maintained as I saw a PR from last January still not reviewed or even commented on and its last update on npm is from 2 years ago.

I think as a community we should create a fork...

maybe the owner of the project can't work on this anymore (too much work, issues etc..)
