MANDY JO'S QUERY ABOUT PHOTOS #113

I think I have found what Mandy Jo was referring to regarding the photo glitch.

I think the website is storing 'last used' photos somewhere in its programming, then reintroducing them during the Upload process. For example: I deleted the living room photo for property 1131 then minimised the webpage. I then opened my Adobe Photoshop and modified the lounge photo making it brighter and with more contrast, then saved it. I then maximised the webpage and Uploaded the modified lounge photo, but the website uploaded the pre-modified image instead. The only way I could get the webpage to upload the new image was to close the website completely and reopen it afresh. Only then the did it upload the new image.

it will have uploaded the new version, what might have happened is because you are uploading a file with the same filename, the old image is stored in cache (the browser cache not the website cache). Test it by uploading a new image, if it is showing the old image still, either close the browser, clear the cache, refresh the screen with shift f5, or open it in another browser, you should see the new image.
